Mystic Shamanism and Shamanic Healing

To work as a Shamanic healer means to work with spirit, energy and deep states of consciousness in the non- ordinary unseen realms. It also means to live a shamanic life, and so, my practice is in my daily life as well as in my office with clients.
A shaman "see's' in in the dark. This kind of healing work is either the oldest or is among the oldest types of healing on the planet. The word itself is Russian, from the Tungusian of Eastern Siberia and it refers to one who can move through different realms, access deep states of consciousness specifically to travel through the realms to assist in the healing of a person, animal, or place.
Being born an intuitive this kind of healing work was second nature to me. As a girl I practiced some of the techniques that I formally studied as an adult, especially those techniques that involve connectivity to nature, "seeing" what will happen in the future, and listening deeply to animals, plants, and stones.
As a shamanic healer I have to be protected, aided by allies, and expanded in my understanding of reality. This kind of work does not require the use of drugs although some shamanic traditions like those in the Amazon use the mother vine Ayahuasuca by taking a prepared liquid form of the plant (usually mixed with another plant) to receive teachings and wisdom for the purpose of healing self or others. The states of consciousness required to do Shamanic work are also achieved by drumming, using rattles, breathing, and with experience the Shaman goes easily in and out of deep states without needing external assistance.
Historically the village Shaman would have been responsible for the health of the village, both physical and spiritual, even giving help to the crops grown or the animals raised. In our current cultures we have medical interventions that work solely on the physical level and address, quite well, illness and disease. However, the holistic approach, which is becoming more requested, even if just in the form of nurses learning Reiki, is the way to help the whole person, body, mind and spirit.
This is where the modern Shaman steps in.
As a Shamanic practitioner, I am grateful to work with people who are wrangling crisis issues and non-crisis issues. I have experience working with clients who suffer from abuse, trauma, cancer and other illnesses, personality issues, family unrest, childhood trauma, depression, relationship breakup, death of a family member or friend. I also work with experiences of expanded consciousness, intuitive/psychic experiences or gifts arising. I work with the kinds of human suffering that impact the ability to cope, move forward and find peace and happiness within the self. And I help clients discover their own intuitive powerful selves. All illness and wellness is in the three levels of a human, body, mind and spirit.
Shamanism is non-religious. Shamanism is an ancient system of healing. A system that dovetails perfectly with somatic therapeutic interventions, with intuitive work, archetypal work and energy work. Shamanic healing is holistic, deep, and impactful.
